Im feeling really confident with myself at the moment. I think I have finally encountered that beaut ‘penny drop’ moment when I realise that this is what I look like and I should appreciate my positive attributes instead of wishing I had green eyes or a slightly longer nose.
Doing a Fashion film and being offered modelling work has really opened my eyes and I feel far more at one with myself. I guess not everybody is going to think you’re stunning. Sure there’s a conventional ‘hot’ or ‘fit’ stereotype but it doesn’t actually matter. I don’t think I’m ugly. I don’t think I’m too tall or that I should strive to be thinner than I am.
I’m content - and it’s taken years to get here.
